Erica Salzman(Mat Apprentice and Zumba)
Erica danced competitively beginning in elementary school and continued through her college years. Erica was on the dance team at Ball State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, she taught dance and coached cheerleading in the Indianapolis area until the birth of her first son. It was after the birth of her second son that she started to look for a new exercise routine and fell in love with Pilates in 2008. She loved the results and has continued the practice ever since. In 2011, Erica decided to become a Pilates instructor with certification through Body Arts and Science International. Wanting to add cardio to her exercise routine and return to dance, Erica decided to try a Zumba class in 2010. She was instantly hooked and shortly after began teaching Zumba/Dance Fitness. With the combination of Zumba/Dance Fitness, Pilates, and a healthy diet, Erica feels better and is healthier than any other time in her life.
When she is not teaching Pre-Kindergarten or at the studio, Erica can be found with her husband cheering her boys on at the soccer fields or tennis courts. She also enjoys reading, organic gardening, and landscaping.
